The purpose of the presentation is to discuss Blockchain and Cryptocurrency technology. I will be focusing on doing this from an overall perspective of giving an education on what both technologies are and how they operate. Once I have laid out the foundation of what these technologies are I will be showing the FPA members how this technology has potential to impact their business and in what forms with information that is all publicly available. By the end of the presentation I would like members to walk away knowledgeable enough on the diverse types of cryptocurrency’s, how they are traded and what may be the potential risk and rewards with these instruments as it relates to retail investors. This is not a presentation to sway people that these are suitable or unsuitable investments, but rather to give a high-level view that will help advisors do their own due diligence in field that is currently attracting many diverse opinions from advisors and clients. Basically, looking to help those who don’t focus on this industry the opportunity to openly and freely learn more about it. I would add that this presentation is one that has been given to many other corporations and industry associations.
