The FPA West Suburban Council is pleased to welcome two leading Experts to interpret Monetary and Fiscal Policies, Scott Brave and Robert Carey:

Senior Business Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Scott Brave will join us for his annual update on the Federal Reserves’ Monetary Policies. Scott’s chief responsibilities include the Seventh District’s contribution to the Beige Book and the releases for the Chicago Fed’s National Activity, Midwest Economy and Financial Conditions Indexes. Scott received a B.A in economics with honors from the University of Chicago and M.B.A. with concentrations in economics, statistics and finance from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business.

Robert Carey, Chief Marketing Strategist with First Trust Portfolios has a knack for uncovering the most important information from the ocean of data available to First Trust. Want to know which sectors are expensive and which are not? Want to understand what drives value over time? Mr. Carey has nearly 26 years’ experience as an Equity and Fixed –Income Analyst and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign- Urbana with a B.S in Physics. He is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago and CFA Institute. As Chief Market Strategist, Bob and his staff supervise over $99 billion in assets. Mr. Carey has appeared throughout the United States and Canada as a guest on television and radio programs, including Bloomberg TV, CNBC and on Chicago’s WBBM News radio 780’s.
