Join us on September 27 for an Update on Proposed Tax Law Changes and Some New Ideas for Legacy Planning

Chuck Schultz is a CPA and attorney with over thirty years of experience related to tax and financial planning.  Most recently Chuck served as a National Partner with RSM and had spent a great deal of time at Capitol Hill helping to decipher the possibility of a new Trump Tax Law and its repercussions for the financial planning community.  Chuck has worked closely with the Dave Kautter who is the newly appointed Assistant Secretary of Treasury for Tax Policy and the architect of Trump’s Tax proposal.  Chuck will:

  •  discuss the provisions that have a likelihood of passage

  •  anticipate the impact of coming tax law changes

  •  identify key year-end tax and financial planning strategies most salient for financial planning clients

Michael Stuart is an attorney and CPA who presents a new way to transfer wealth to maintain family relationships – not tear them apart. He will discuss:

  • how to encourage family communication to avoid confusion during emotionally charged times

  • how to manage wealth transfer without destroying relationships

  • how to maintain individual integrity and a personal search for meaning as part of the family legacy

  • how to help families to establish long term relationships that create legacies that last for generations

Come join the North Shore Council on September 27 for this informative breakfast meeting.
